The Boro of Hillsdale Police Headquarters is manned twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.  Unlike many other northern Bergen County towns, the Hillsdale Police Department is proud to handle all of its own dispatching for all three emergency services in Hillsdale: Police, Fire, and EMS , thereby providing personalized round-the-clock service to residents. 

Our Police Headquarters is open to the public at any time because an officer or a civilian dispatcher is always present to answer phones, handle 9-1-1 calls, receive walk-in complaints / questions / official business, and of course dispatch our emergency services as the needs arise.

Police Headquarters is centrally located on Hillsdale Avenue, nearby Hillsdale's 'downtown' or business district.  Residents who have business with the police department may call the Police Desk at (201)664-4200, or visit the following links for information about common requests.  Of course, in the event of an emergency, dial 9-1-1 .
