Residents who have neither an emergency nor a non-emergency request for the police, will often have a need to obtain copies of police reports, accident reports, discovery, and other adminstrative requests. The Hillsdale Police Department's Records Bureau handles all such requests.
The Records Bureau , under the direction of Record's Clerk Lourdes Spagnoli, is available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday thru Friday (except holidays). The Records Bureau is responsible for the archiving of all police reports and documentation. In addition to making the proper disposition of all reports, the Record's Clerk is also in charge of all discovery requests for court proceedings.
All requests for copies of reports or discovery, including car accident reports, can be made to the Record's Clerk via our Online Records Request Form, telephone, or in person. Once arrangements have been made, the respective copies will be left for pick-up at the Police Desk , which is open to the public 24 hours a day. Please bring proper identification with you to pick up records and or reports.
