As of November 1, 2009 the Hillsdale Police Department will no longer be processing fingerprints for town residents. Residents requiring fingerprinting for firearms, volunteer service and borough ordinances will be required to utilize MorphoTrak, an independent fingerprinting agency. The Hillsdale Police Department will still fingerprint residents for “out of state” licensing.

 

 

RESIDENT FINGERPRINTING PROCEDURE

 

1.   Resident must visit Hillsdale Police Headquarters, with your drivers license available for officers.

 

2.   Resident must request a “MorphoTrak Form”, for their particular purpose:

 

i.                Firearms

ii.               Alcohol and Beverage Control

iii.              Borough Ordinance

iv.              Borough Volunteer

 

3.   Obtain a case number from the attending officer, and insert number in Box 7 labeled, “Contributor’s Case Number”.

 

4.   Visit www.BioApplicant.com or call MorphoTrak at (877) 503-5981 to schedule a fingerprinting appointment. The closest fingerprinting location to Hillsdale is:

5.   Check your “MorphoTrak Form” to ensure you are bringing the appropriate fee for fingerprinting services.

 

6.   Once fingerprints are submitted, they will be returned to the Hillsdale Police Department. Please wait to be contacted by the appropriate Hillsdale Agency.
